My full name is Golrokh Mohtajolfazl. I was born and grew up in Iran. I’ve been living with my husband, Foad in the US since 2015. My full time job now is being the mother of Leili. I love morning teas, earthworms, tiny wild flowers, lonely clouds, the smell of fresh bread, the sound of thunderstorms, yellow color, my grandma’s hands and watching my baby playing. I am a ceramic student at RISD now and I have a M.F.A in illustration from Tehran University's School of Fine Arts.
I would love to try different techniques and mix them all together to make pictures. But also I can tell that my dominant technique in illustrating is using opaque oil color with color pencil on paper. Recently I’ve found digital illustrating more fun and I am practicing it to find my own style.
